This Saturday our Council’s Scouting for Food. It was a great time. The boys got the idea and really pitched in as needed.
From the one great moment came from one of my favorite Tiger’s:
The Tiger was gathering food door to door. Adult gave just a can of pizza sauce cause that is all he had. He wanted to give more, but said this ” Who eats canned food anyway?” Tiger Cub said point blank and out of innocene “The people we are collecting for.” The Adult asked the Tiger Den Leader who to write a check to. Leader replied: Just donate to the Oregon Food Bank.
There you go…the people who need it. Good turn of the day done. Affect…..long lasting.
