For the past few days my son and daughter have been working on their cars. The race is next Saturday at the local Amory. The local chapter of the Order of the Arrow puts on the Race for us and other Packs in the district. They use this race as a fundraiser. Last year they bought a Teepee.
Today:
I talked to a couple from school while helping my son practice baseball for tryouts tomarrow, about Cubscouts. Explained about our 1st annual Cub-o-ree that is in April.
Also emailed registration info to the Webelos I Den Leaders about Camporee that is later in April. Registration just went live today.
Met with Webelos Den Leader to talk about FOS for her Pack. We also talked a lot about Scouting and what we & they are doing. Invited her and other Webelos Den Leader to Pack Meeting and also Crossover. She wants to see what other people do.
My daughter went off to sell Girl Scout cookies this morning at 8am. She ended up working three instead of 2 hours. Had fun. My wife went…;)
Talked to Tiger Den Leader about Pinewood Derby. He and son might come over on Sunday to work on cars.
